Where Learning Begins
with Understanding

About the programme

Primary Phase

At Kensio House, our Primary Phase covers Grade R through Stage 6 plus our Alternative Educational Pathway Junior. We follow the Cambridge curriculum, same standards, same rigour, but we teach it in a way that works for neurodiverse learners. That means hands-on concrete materials for the younger ones, peer-to-peer discussions and group work as they move up, and teachers who know when to push forward and when to pause based on how each learner is tracking. By Intermediate, students are working through English, Mathematics, Afrikaans, Science, Global Perspectives, Computing and Art and Design with the same Cambridge content you’d find anywhere, just delivered with more patience and less pressure. Whether a learners needs therapeutic support, remedial input, or just a bit more time, we make space for it without compromising on what they’re learning.
